Anja is a multidisciplinary scholar and art producer who also maintains an artistic practice. Her work moves between academic inquiry and cultural production, with a focus on postcolonial and decolonial perspectives. She is the founder of Micro Kino, a pop-up event series dedicated to fostering connections through the power of film and the co-host of the podcast ‘Talking American Studies’.

Anja has worked and volunteered in various projects concerning the arts and peace-building as well as intercultural dialogue and exchange.
